The following lectures are held within the chemical engineering curriculum: Applied Process and Plant Technology, Industrial Organic Chemistry (Part I, related to raw materials and base chemicals), as well as advanced courses in fuel chemistry and technology, e.g.:

• Fuels I (Fundamentals, Liquid Fuels),
• Fuels II (Gases and Solids),
• Fuels for Fuel Cell Applications and Future Automotive Power Systems,
• Design of a Fuel Processing Plant.

Research topics are related to fundamentals of technical processes (e.g. kinetics or other reaction engineering aspects). Experimental work is carried out in various kinds of lab-scale reactors, combined with mathematical modelling with modern software tools.
